Petrochemicals production in Gulf states is expected to rise by 11% in the next three years, Gulf News reported. Annual production is 40m tonnes now, representing around 8% of world output, according to Al Fajer Information and Services, the organisers of Arabplast. Saudi is the GCC's top plastics producer, followed by the UAE.
